Blood  Doesn’t Get Cold

Blood Doesn't Get Cold is a body of work reflecting the identity and culture of the Autonomous Territorial Unit of Gagauzia in Moldova. The narrative is build around the Gagauz way of recording their own history. As they didn't have literal until the 19th century, the Gagauz used folklore and symbols that they carved out of wood and wove onto rugs and tapestries.
The images in this body of work were guided by these stories and symbols, thus documenting this nation for the first time whilst echoing their voice.
